Meet the Owner...

My name is Joe Beeston, and I have a small confession to make — I’m sort of allergic to car traders. Yes, you heard that right… the car trader who’s allergic to car traders.

In all my years of buying cars, I’ve only ever bought two of them from traders (a 1998 Vauxhall Vectra and a 2018 Porsche 911, if you were wondering).

Why am I telling you this? Because in my own experience I have found that some traders have a tendancy to add very little value to the car purchasing process. Too often I would experience badly prepped cars, denial of obvious faults, a dismissive attitude toward buyers’ questions and a weird obsession with tyre shine.

So, when I decided to enter the car trade myself, I made two promises:

1️⃣ Every car I sell must offer genuine added value for its next owner.

2️⃣ I will never, ever use tyre shine.

In practice, this means every car from BEEST Automotive undergoes a thorough inspection and retail preparation phase before being offered for sale.

✅ Extended road testing on every vehicle

✅ New cambelts fitted where there’s no proof of recent replacement

✅ Bodywork perfected using our trusted PDR and SMART repair partners

✅ Any missing or broken interior trim fixed or replaced

✅ New mats fitted if existing ones are worn or missing

✅ A fresh MOT at the point of sale for total peace of mind

✅ An oil and filter service unless we have evidence it’s been done within the last 3–6 months

In short, all cars we Retail will be prepared to the highest standard...we like to call it the BEEST PREP!
